About The Position

Cyber B.A.T. is seeking a Senior Systems Engineer providing technical leadership in the planning, design, development, and integration of complex systems while ensuring the successful execution of systems engineering efforts across the program lifecycle. This role serves as a trusted advisor to government stakeholders and program leadership, guiding engineering decisions, maintaining technical integrity, and leading cross-functional teams to deliver mission-critical solutions.

Requirements

  • Active TS/SCI Clearance with a current Maryland Polygraph
  • Twenty (20) years of Systems Engineering experience supporting programs and contracts of similar scope, type, and complexity.
  • Demonstrated experience planning, leading, and managing Systems Engineering efforts.
  • Proven ability to lead technical teams through the full systems engineering lifecycle.
  • Experience developing system requirements, architectures, and engineering documentation.
  • Experience creating and implementing System Engineering Management Plans (SEMPs) and System Integration and Test Plans (SITPs).
  • Strong background in systems integration, technical planning, and engineering analysis.
  • Experience conducting feasibility studies and recommending technical solutions.
  • Ability to provide technical leadership across multidisciplinary engineering teams.
  • Experience collaborating directly with Government customers and senior leadership.
  • Excellent analytical, communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to ensure the technical quality, integrity, and successful delivery of complex engineering solutions.
  • Bachelor's degree in Systems Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering Science, Engineering Management, or a related discipline from an accredited college or university.
  • Five (5) additional years of Systems Engineering experience may be substituted for a Bachelor's degree.

Responsibilities

  • Analyze user requirements, concept of operations (CONOPS) documents, and high-level system architectures to develop system requirements specifications.
  • Lead systems engineering activities from requirements analysis through system design and implementation.
  • Analyze system requirements and direct the design and development of engineering solutions.
  • Guide customers and stakeholders in defining requirements and identifying effective technical approaches.
  • Conduct technical feasibility studies and evaluate alternative engineering solutions.
  • Provide technical leadership for the integration of system requirements, architecture, design, and emerging technologies.
  • Incorporate new systems, capabilities, and engineering solutions into existing operational environments.
  • Develop and maintain technical documentation supporting systems engineering efforts.
  • Create system architecture, system design, and engineering documentation.
  • Develop or oversee System Engineering Management Plans (SEMPs) and System Integration and Test Plans (SITPs).
  • Guide system implementation planning, integration, testing, and deployment activities.
  • Interface directly with Government customers to address technical considerations, engineering issues, risks, and conflict resolution.
  • Ensure the technical integrity, quality, and completeness of engineering work products and program deliverables.
  • Communicate engineering strategies, technical recommendations, and project status to program personnel, government representatives, and senior executives.
  • Lead cross-functional engineering efforts to support successful program execution.
