About The Position
This is a permanent, unionized position for a Millwright (Code MC26-03) at Nunavik. The hourly rate ranges from $45.78 to $51.41. The application deadline is August 13th, 2026. The work schedule involves a rotation of 6 weeks: 3 weeks worked (77 hours per week, 7 days a week) followed by 3 weeks for rest.
Requirements
- College diploma (DEC) or vocational studies (DEP) in mechanics/industrial maintenance.
- 5-8 years of experience in industrial mechanics (maintenance).
- Ability with welding techniques and cutting.
- Valid driver’s license.
- Ability to diagnose problems on different equipment.
Nice To Haves
- Good knowledge of MS Office software.
- Bilingualism (French/English) is an asset that facilitates and enhances our internal communications.
Responsibilities
- Performs preventive maintenance on production equipment.
- Carries out repair / reconditioning work on production equipment.
- Meet the company's health and safety requirements and environmental regulations in the workplace.
- Responds to company health and safety requirements and recommendations.
- Performs other related duties associated with this position.
