About The Position

The actual location of this job is in Bend, Oregon (USA). Relocation assistance is available for eligible candidates and their families, if needed. This role offers an exciting opportunity to provide technical ownership of critical manufacturing equipment. You will support safe, reliable, and high-quality pharmaceutical production while contributing to the delivery of life-changing therapies. This is a fully site-based role. Working together in person supports close, real-time collaboration and the technical precision needed to manufacture medicines to the highest quality and safety standards. Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED required
  • Hands-on experience with capital projects and engineering documentation
  • Strong problem-solving skills using structured troubleshooting methods
  • Experience working with vendors, contractors, and cross-functional teams
  • Working knowledge of automation, controls, or equipment data systems
  • Strong communication skills and ability to work in a diverse team environment

Nice To Haves

  • engineering degree preferred
  • Experience supporting pharmaceutical or biotechnology manufacturing equipment preferred

Responsibilities

  • Own and support pharmaceutical manufacturing equipment, including spray dryers
  • Provide hands-on engineering support across manufacturing, quality, and reliability teams
  • Troubleshoot mechanical, process, automation, and electrical issues safely
  • Act as a subject matter expert for equipment performance and lifecycle management
  • Support capital projects from design through commissioning and qualification
  • Improve equipment reliability, uptime, and maintainability
  • Ensure compliance with safety standards, regulatory requirements, and GMP guidelines
