About The Position

We are seeking a motivated Systems Engineer with experience in RF testing, EMI/EMC analysis, and systems engineering support to support mission-critical government programs. This role focuses on electromagnetic interference (EMI) testing, RF analysis, unintended emissions evaluation, and technical reporting within secure mission environments.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in a Qualified Engineering Field or related discipline from an accredited college or university plus four (4) years of systems engineering experience OR High School Diploma or GED plus four (4) years of general systems engineering experience within any Process Area may be substituted for a bachelor’s degree
  • Experience coding in Python and Visual Basic for engineering or test applications
  • Strong understanding of RF theory and application of academic/engineering principles related to EMI testing and unintended emissions analysis within the HF, VHF, and UHF spectrum
  • Hands-on experience with RF test equipment including: Network analyzers, Signal generators, Spectrum analyzers, Oscilloscopes
  • Familiarity with RF components including: Amplifiers, Filters, Isolators, Attenuators, Terminators
  • Must be able to travel approximately three (3) times per year for 7–10 days at a time

  • Experience with Electromagnetic Compatibility (EMC) testing
  • Experience with Electromagnetic Interference (EMI) mitigation
  • Experience with Antenna calibration
  • Prior experience supporting government, defense, or cleared environments preferred
  • Strong analytical and troubleshooting abilities
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to work independently within highly technical mission environments
  • Comfortable operating in laboratory, field test, and secure facility settings

Responsibilities

  • Formulating and documenting technical test plans
  • Drafting and issuing technical recommendations through formal engineering test reports
  • Specifying and/or reviewing system and component technical performance requirements to ensure optimal functionality while meeting E3 noise electric field limits
  • Collaborating with internal teams and external agency stakeholders to support E3 program objectives and mission requirements
