About The Position
The Corp-DDS Operations team is looking for a Systems Engineer to manage operational systems and create/manage dataflows using tools like Apache NiFi. The role involves reviewing and processing Dataflow Management Requests (DMRs), providing solutions for efficient dataflows, and participating in dataflow modernization efforts. This includes evaluating current dataflows, building requirements, and rebuilding flows in a virtual cloud environment. The position requires on-call support after hours.
Requirements
- 8+ years of data flow experience
- Minimum working 12 years working within the Intelligence Community working with mission systems and mission data formats
- Extensive experience with Mission Systems that process and manage mission data
- Experience working with mission data formats
- Managing hardware and working from the Linux Operating Systems CLI to manage NiFi configurations and perform software upgrades
- Building out NiFi clusters using Zookeeper
- Reviewing and processing, or creating Dataflow Management Requests, DMRs
- Experience with Apache NiFi functionality for managing and building complex Dataflows
- Managing analytical needs and requirements
- Creating Systems Architectural Diagrams depicting software and system functions
- Experience with software such as; Zookeeper, Elastic Search, Grafana, NiFi Registry
- Bachelor’s degree in System Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering Science, Engineering Management, or related discipline from an accredited college or university is required.
- Five (5) years of additional SE experience may be substituted for a bachelor’s degree
- Seventeen (17) years of experience as a SE in programs and contracts of similar scope, type and complexity is required.
- Active TS/SCI security clearance with a current polygraph is required
