The CSC Systems Engineer is the MUSC Health owner of the Consolidated Service Center (CSC) systems portfolio. This includes the Tecsys Warehouse Management System (WMS) and Supply Chain Planning (SCP) platform; goods-to-person warehouse automation and its control software (WCS/WES); and supporting technologies such as courier and transportation tracking, label and print management, RF/mobile hardware, and integrations with the Workday ERP. Under limited supervision, the Engineer leads MUSC-side system configuration, master data governance, integration support, testing, reporting, and end-user enablement through WMS/SCP implementation and subsequent automation deployment. The role then provides ongoing administration, optimization, and tier 1-2 support across CSC systems. The Engineer is the primary technical liaison among CSC operations, MUSC Information Solutions, and system vendors in support of system-wide self-distribution. The position requires strong interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills; data analysis and master data management capabilities; structured testing experience; and the ability to document processes and train non-technical users. The Engineer coordinates across vendors and functions, troubleshoots calmly under pressure, and responds to project demands and deadlines with minimal supervision. Professionalism, poise under pressure, energy, a positive attitude, and a team-oriented approach are expected.
