About The Position

Responsible for the supervision and coordination of all payroll functions across the PIH Health enterprise. This includes management of bi-weekly payroll processing, calculating and remitting federal and state payroll taxes, filing quarterly payroll tax returns, staying abreast of all current federal and state payroll tax rules/regulations, interfacing with the Human Resource Dept. personnel and responsible for addressing employee questions throughout the year. Requirements

  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, high transaction volume work environment related to bi-weekly payroll processing deadlines.
  • Demonstrated leadership and oversight experience of running a payroll department.
  • Highly organized and extremely detail-oriented.
  • Ability to prioritize and multi-task.
  • Strong technical payroll background.
  • Serves as a key internal control over the accuracy of payroll data covering thousands of employees.
