The Data Center Availability team works with the hundreds of AWS data centers around the globe to deliver the highest quality and lowest cost physical security, availability, capacity, and scaling results for our customers. Our aim is to standardize operations globally by delivering tools, policy, processes and procedures to our internal teams. AWS Infrastructure Services owns the design, planning, delivery, and operation of all AWS global infrastructure. In other words, we’re the people who keep the cloud running. We support all AWS data centers and all of the servers, storage, networking, power, and cooling equipment that ensure our customers have continual access to the innovation they rely on. We work on the most challenging problems, with thousands of variables impacting the supply chain — and we’re looking for talented people who want to help. You’ll join a diverse team of software, hardware, and network engineers, supply chain specialists, security experts, operations managers, and other vital roles. Requirements

  • Experience in automating, deploying, and supporting large-scale infrastructure
  • Experience designing or architecting (design patterns, reliability and scaling) of new and existing systems
  • Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent
  • 4+ years of building scripts, tooling, and automation for large-scale computing environments experience

  • Experience building services using AWS products

Responsibilities

  • Design software tools using advanced automation methods such as Agentic AI
  • Work with business stakeholders to understand the opportunities to automate the manual work and streamline the process
  • Develop and maintain software pipelines using best practices for smooth production code release.
  • Suggest and implement best practices for coding, design and operational excellence.
  • Mentor engineers and develop them
