About The Position

NVIDIA is looking for a Datacenter Product Architect to help define & design products for AI, high performance computing, and other datacenter markets. This role involves driving the architecture for datacenter systems, considering everything from the chip to the full datacenter. The architect will work with counterparts from silicon, software, networking, operations, and other teams to define and build future NVIDIA products. Collaboration with multi-disciplinary teams is key to understanding customer needs, translating them into design inputs, and aligning on consistent strategies. The role also requires analyzing performance, power, and cost of different solutions to understand architectural tradeoffs and align design decisions. The architect will work across engineering and operations teams to define and implement systems from concept through large production deployments.

Requirements

12+ years of experience working on datacenter systems
Deep understanding of hardware architecture and design of servers including mechanical, power, and thermal and the interaction between server architecture and at-scale datacenter deployment
Hands on experience with hard problems that span software and hardware
Excellent interpersonal skills with proven record to lead multi-disciplinary teams
Bachelors Degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering or related fields (or equivalent experience)

Nice To Haves

Experience with large projects involving co-development of custom processors or accelerators, systems, and software
Familiarity with GPU compute and NVIDIA networking
Understanding of manufacturing operations processes
Experience with cloud server deployments & operation
A Masters degree is preferred
