About The Position

The System Architect will solve problems with a complete end-to-end solution in a fast-paced, Agile environment. The role involves building solutions within data platforms to modernize and automate customer processes, directly impacting the client's mission. The architect will use their passion to learn new tools and techniques and identify needed system improvements. They will use the Agile lifecycle to work with the development team on developing and configuring software applications and solutions to implement system stakeholder requirements. The architect will analyze the needs and the environment to help make sure the solution the team develops considers the architecture and operating environment, as well as future functionality and enhancements.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience with architecture development, including software integration, API platforms, business rules, client scripts, custom apps, or development methods
  • Experience with configuration management database (CMDB) administration
  • Experience collaborating with senior-level stakeholders, IT teams, and end-users to comprehend business needs and technical constraints
  • Experience selecting appropriate technologies, platforms, programming languages, and cloud services based on business and technical requirements
  • Knowledge of SOAP and REST web services
  • TS/SCI clearance with a polygraph
  • Bachelor's degree

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with Object Oriented Programming, SQL, and NoSQL databases
  • Experience with application design concepts and tools, including using UML, ERD, and Flow Diagrams
  • Experience introducing open-source solutions into applications via Script Includes or as JS or CSS Includes
  • Experience implementing solutions inside a DevOps pipeline
  • Experience with Agile Scrum development methods
  • Experience with proposal writing
  • Knowledge of SAML, Active Directory, or LDAP Integrations
