About The Position

This role involves working as a lead developer, facilitator, and subject matter expert for applications and services that handle complex financial business processes within large, cross-functional projects. The goal is to ensure the implementation of robust and scalable solutions. The position requires providing guidance and oversight to quality assurance throughout the development lifecycle, from inception to production. Responsibilities include identifying, analyzing, and resolving problems, contributing to continuous improvement through roadmaps and process standardization, and collaborating with other developers and architects. The role also involves working with distributed teams to ensure project communication and delivery standards are met, and staying updated on software development trends and methodologies.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Systems, or another related technical field, or equivalent work experience.
• Minimum of 7+ years of experience as a lead developer or development manager.
• 5+ years of broad experience working with development technologies, including: Azure SQL, SQL Server, Oracle databases or similar relational databases.
• Knowledge of Microsoft Visual Studio/.NET required.
• Knowledge of ORMs, Entity Framework, and n-Hibernate required.
• Extensive experience with the development and maintenance of software systems dealing with complex financial business processes.
• Knowledge of terminology and concepts of relational databases, including SQL proficiency.
• Knowledge of creating SQL, PowerBI, and SSRS reports.
• Skilled in verbal and written communication, interpersonal relations, conflict resolution, and customer service.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, high-volume, deadline-driven environment.
• Ability to balance multiple demands and work both independently and as part of a team.
• Ability to conduct complex systems analysis and translate user requirements into business solutions.
• Ability to integrate research and best practices into problem avoidance and continuous improvement.
• Ability to effectively communicate and lead development teams.
• Ability to display professionalism in dealing with all levels of management and staff.

Responsibilities

• Work as a lead developer, facilitator, and subject matter expert for applications and services dealing with complex financial business processes on large cross-functional application projects, ensuring that robust and scalable solutions are implemented.
• Provide guidance and oversight to quality assurance on all new code from inception through integration, staging, and production environments.
• Identify, analyze, and resolve problems and issues using troubleshooting tools and techniques, as well as teamwork.
• Work with the team toward continuous improvement, which may include design, definition of roadmaps, and standardization of processes and methodologies; collaborate with other developers and architects to drive guidelines, methodologies, and documentation.
• Work in partnership with distributed cross-functional teams to ensure all aspects of the project are communicated, supported, and delivered to the highest standards.
• Develop and apply knowledge of trends, relevant software development technologies, and methodologies.
