About The Position

System Analyst – OpenText Exstream to support large‑scale Customer Communication Management (CCM) implementations and migrations for Insurance clients. The role involves requirements analysis, functional specification, and end‑to‑end delivery support for batch, on‑demand, and interactive communications built on the OpenText Exstream platform.

Requirements

  • Strong experience as System Analyst / Business Analyst on OpenText Exstream implementations.
  • Strong Experience on JCL / COBOL / CSF
  • Hands‑on knowledge of Exstream templates, data models, orchestration, and delivery concepts.
  • Experience with batch, on‑demand, and interactive communications.
  • Strong understanding of Insurance domain (Policy, Claims, Billing, Customer Communications).
  • Experience integrating Exstream with core policy systems, Guidewire, mainframe, or APIs.
  • Proficiency in XML, JSON, XSD, data mapping, and content rules.
  • Strong documentation and stakeholder communication skills.

Nice To Haves

  • Exposure to cloud‑based Exstream deployments (AWS/Azure).
  • Experience with regulatory and compliance‑driven customer communications.
  • Familiarity with JIRA / ALM / Azure DevOps.

Responsibilities

  • Work with business stakeholders and SMEs to gather, analyze, and document communication requirements.
  • Perform AS‑IS / TO‑BE analysis for legacy CCM platforms (Documerge, CSF, etc.) migrating to OpenText Exstream.
  • Prepare Functional Specification Documents (FSDs) and System Design Specifications (SDS) for Exstream templates and orchestration flows.
  • Define data mappings, transformation rules, and conditional logic for documents (letters, notices, policies, statements, claims).
  • Collaborate with architects and developers on batch, on‑demand, and interactive communication designs.
  • Support template rationalization, reuse strategy, and output standardization initiatives.
  • Define and execute test scenarios, output validation, and parallel testing between legacy CCM and Exstream.
  • Support SIT, UAT, defect triage, and go‑live / hyper‑care activities.
  • Act as a liaison between business, development, QA, and integration teams across onsite–offshore delivery model.
