About The Position

Grace is seeking a System Analyst, Core IT Infrastructure & Cloud to join our Core IT Infrastructure & Cloud team. This role reports to Director - Core IT Infrastructure & Cloud, and is based in Columbia, MD. Very minimal travel may be required for special events or meetings. The position operates in a global enterprise environment and will require participation in scheduled maintenance windows and occasional after-hours support. The System Analyst I – Core IT Infrastructure & Cloud plays a critical role in supporting and evolving Grace’s enterprise infrastructure and cloud platforms. This position is responsible for the operational health of core systems spanning on‑premises, hybrid, and Microsoft Azure environments. The role is hands‑on and growth‑oriented, offering exposure to cloud technologies, identity services, data center operations, and enterprise-scale systems. Success in this role requires strong technical fundamentals, the ability to operate calmly under pressure, and clear communication with stakeholders ranging from technical teams to executive leadership.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
  • 3–5 years of enterprise infrastructure experience.
  • Hands‑on experience with Microsoft Azure and Microsoft 365.
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Entra ID and Exchange Online.
  • Experience with Windows Server and virtualization.
  • Exposure to enterprise data center environments.

Nice To Haves

  • Hybrid cloud experience.
  • VMware vSphere familiarity.
  • Microsoft Azure and Exchange Online (Office 365).
  • Foundational networking knowledge.
  • Disaster recovery participation.

Responsibilities

  • Support and administer core enterprise infrastructure services across on‑premises and Microsoft Azure environments.
  • Participate in support and guidance where needed in other IT groups.
  • Provide Tier 1 operational support for Microsoft 365 and Azure services including Exchange Online, Teams, OneDrive, and Microsoft Entra ID.
  • Assist with deployment and support of hybrid cloud solutions.
  • Perform day‑to‑day Windows Server and virtual machine administration.
  • Participate in infrastructure upgrades, patching, backups, and migrations.
  • Assist with disaster recovery planning, documentation, and testing.
  • Provide hands‑on data center support including rack and stack and cabling when needed.
  • Coordinate with managed service providers and vendors.
  • Maintain accurate technical documentation.
  • Communicate effectively with senior and executive leadership during incidents.
