About The Position

The Junior Business Analyst supports the analysis of business processes, gathers and documents requirements, and assists in delivering data-driven insights. This role works closely with senior business analysts, stakeholders, and technical teams to help improve efficiency, reporting, and system functionality.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, IT, Finance, Engineering, or a related field
• 0–2 years of experience in business analysis or a related role
• Basic understanding of business analysis concepts and SDLC
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Good communication and documentation skills
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and Word

Nice To Haves

• Basic knowledge of SQL, data analysis, or reporting tools is a plus
• Exposure to Agile or Scrum methodology
• Experience with tools like JIRA, Confluence, or similar
• Basic understanding of databases or business intelligence tools
• Willingness to learn and adapt in a fast-paced environment

Responsibilities

• Assist in gathering, documenting, and validating business requirements from stakeholders
• Prepare functional requirement documents (FRD), business requirement documents (BRD), and user stories
• Conduct basic data analysis using Excel, SQL, or BI tools to support business decisions
• Support process mapping, gap analysis, and workflow documentation
• Participate in meetings, workshops, and requirement walkthroughs
• Help with user acceptance testing (UAT) by preparing test cases and validating results
• Maintain documentation and ensure changes are tracked properly
• Support communication between business users and technical teams
