Business Analyst Manufacturing System

About The Position

We are looking for a Business Analyst, Manufacturing Systems, reporting to the Manager, Global Manufacturing Systems, to help us gather, analyze, and document stakeholder requirements for manufacturing systems. In this role, you will play a key part in bridging operational teams and the development/vendor team to ensure a clear understanding of requirements, the quality of deliverables, and the success of deployments across manufacturing sites.

Requirements

University or college degree in business administration, IT, engineering, or another relevant field.
Experience in business analysis within a manufacturing or industrial environment.
Knowledge of transportation and manufacturing processes.
Strong communication and writing skills.
Ability to work as part of a team and interact with a variety of stakeholders (operations, IT, management).
Proficiency with documentation and project management tools.

Responsibilities

Gather and analyze business requirements from operational teams to propose appropriate solutions.
Translate these requirements into clear functional specifications for IT teams or vendors.
Contribute to the documentation of processes, solutions, and user guides.
Participate in user testing, document results, and track issues.
Support users during testing and deployment phases, including preparing and delivering training when needed.
Participate in deployment activities and monitor issues in collaboration with stakeholders.
Collaborate with business and IT teams to ensure smooth project execution and adherence to timelines.
