About The Position

T2S Solutions (T2S) is seeking to hire a System Administrator in the Joint Navigation Warfare Center (JNWC). This critical role will support of the Joint Navigation Warfare Center (JNWC) contract, you will be part of our teams efforts to empower the Department of Defenses navigation warfare (NAVWAR) mission to ensure positioning, navigation, and navigation timing superiority. Our mission is to provide combatant commanders and joint force commanders with subject matter expertise on planning and conducting NAVWAR by providing knowledge of friendly and enemy NAVWAR Order of Battle and PNT-related successes and threats. Requirements

Current DoD issued Security Clearance
BA/BS degree and 5-7+ years of relevant System Administration experience
Must have either CompTIA Server +, CompTIA Security+, or Microsoft Certified Solutions Expert (MCSE), or an equivalent certification
Good communication skills, both verbal and written
Strong attention to detail
Due to the nature of the position, if selected, you will be subject to a government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information

Responsibilities

Support the DevOps team by providing routine OS, software, and application support
Track, version, deploy, and roll back database changes to production and development databases
You will be responsible for the maintenance, configuration, and reliable operation of computer systems, network servers, and virtualization
Provide documentation and technical specifications to IT staff for planning and implementing new or upgrades of IT infrastructure
Perform or delegate regular backup operations and implement appropriate processes for data protection, disaster recovery, and failover procedures
You will be responsible for capacity, storage planning, and database performance
Configure databases to meet cybersecurity requirements, ensure regulatory compliance, and adhere to database best practices
Automate and standardize repetitive tasks with version-controlled scripts and procedures
Analyze and write complex queries to support gathering metrics, troubleshooting application issues, and diagnosing performance issues
Work closely with members of the development, test, and operations teams to troubleshoot build breaks, enforce software quality standards, and deployment of the application to non-production and production environments
Manage and monitor all installed systems and infrastructure
The position may require CONUS/OCONUS travel and shiftwork supporting operations and exercises
