About The Position

This is a contract role for a Systems Administrator-Hybrid position based in Salem, OR. The engagement is for 05+ months with a pay rate of $50 - $53 per hour on W2. The role involves providing senior-level systems administration services to support planning, implementation, testing, deployment, documentation, operational readiness, and ongoing operations for ODA's technology environment. Key projects include Data Center Modernization and Mac to Windows Transition. The administrator will support Windows Server, Active Directory, MS Entra ID, MS365, Azure, DNS, DHCP, MS Intune, Group Policy, endpoint management, Windows imaging, workstation deployment, and device lifecycle management. Responsibilities also include assisting with server migrations, identity modernization, domain consolidation, infrastructure modernization, developing technical documentation, participating in testing and deployments, providing Tier III technical support, and coordinating with various stakeholders. The contractor is expected to perform services professionally, maintain documentation, participate in meetings, communicate risks promptly, and adhere to security requirements.

Responsibilities

  • Provide senior-level systems administration services to support planning, implementation, testing, deployment, documentation, operational readiness, and ongoing operations for ODA's technology environment during the engagement.
  • Support the Data Center Modernization and Mac to Windows Transition projects.
  • Administer Windows Server, Active Directory, MS Entra ID, MS365, Azure, DNS, DHCP, and related infrastructure.
  • Support MS Intune, Group Policy, endpoint management, Windows imaging, workstation deployment, and device lifecycle management.
  • Assist with server migrations, identity modernization, domain consolidation, and infrastructure modernization.
  • Develop and maintain technical documentation, standard operating procedures, and knowledge transfer materials.
  • Participate in testing, pilot deployments, production implementations, and troubleshooting.
  • Provide Tier III technical support and assist with day-to-day operational systems administration activities as assigned.
  • Coordinate with ODA staff, project managers, vendors, and stakeholders.
  • Perform other related systems administration duties necessary to support project and operational objectives.
  • Perform services professionally and in accordance with ODA standards.
  • Maintain appropriate documentation.
  • Participate in project and operational meetings.
  • Communicate risks, issues, and dependencies promptly.
  • Follow all applicable security and confidentiality requirements.
