We are seeking System Administrators at both Level 1 and Level 2 tiers to support the implementation, troubleshooting, and maintenance of critical IT systems. In this role, you will manage infrastructure and processes related to client/server, storage, network, and mobile devices.
Requirements
- Level 1 System Administrator: Five (5) years of experience as a System Administrator in programs of similar scope and complexity.
- Level 2 System Administrator: Ten (10) years of experience as a System Administrator in programs of similar scope and complexity.
- Bachelor’s degree in a technical discipline. Five (5) years of additional SA experience may be substituted for a bachelor's degree (10 years total for Level 1, 15 years total for Level 2).
- Proficiency in configuring and managing UNIX and Windows operating systems.
- In-depth experience in troubleshooting complex IT systems and network components.
- Ability to remain involved in the resolution process for hardware and dispatch system problems.
- TS/SCI with FS Polygraph clearance is required.
Responsibilities
- Manage daily configuration and operation of IT systems, including UNIX and Windows operating systems.
- Provide Tier 1 (Help Desk) and Tier 2 (Escalation) problem identification, diagnosis, and resolution.
- Install and load OS software, maintain network integrity, and implement enhancements to improve reliability and performance.
- Perform system capacity analysis and planning to optimize resource utilization.
- Provide detailed analysis and feedback to agency management and internal customers regarding escalated tickets and status updates.
