About The Position

The Defense Sector of Leidos has an immediate opening for a Systems Administrator in Mons, Belgium. This role supports critical Army Military Intelligence Enterprise IT systems, ensuring secure, reliable, and uninterrupted operations across a global environment. As part of a high-performing team, you will provide IT repair, maintenance, operations, logistics, and engineering services in support of mission-critical systems. Important Note on Start Timeline: Due to the Status of Forces Agreement (SOFA) process required for this position, the onboarding and deployment timeline is typically 3 to 6 months from offer acceptance.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree with 4+ years of relevant experience, or a Master’s degree with 2+ years of relevant experience. Additional relevant experience, training, or certifications may be considered in lieu of a degree.
  • Active DoD Top Secret clearance with the ability to obtain a TS/SCI prior to start date.
  • Active IAT Level II certification (Security+ CE or higher), or ability to obtain prior to start.
  • Computing Environment: Windows Server, Windows 11, or related system administration certificate/ certification, or the ability to obtain prior to start.
  • Experience administering SCCM/ MECM.
  • Experience working with Red Hat Enterprise Linux v8.10.
  • Experience administering Microsoft Exchange.
  • Experience administering VMware environments.
  • U.S. citizenship and a valid U.S. passport required to obtain SOFA status in Belgium.

Nice To Haves

  • Current operating system certification in Linux or Windows.
  • Microsoft Certified: Windows Server Hybrid Administrator Associate or higher.
  • Experience with SharePoint 2016 or Subscription Edition.
  • Experience with SQL Server 2022.
  • Experience with Dell VxRail and Data Domain storage administration.
  • Experience with Apache Tomcat and PostgreSQL.
  • Experience supporting senior leaders or high-visibility customers in demanding environments.

Responsibilities

  • Troubleshoot, diagnose, and resolve software and system issues across enterprise environments.
  • Support system design activities including testing, implementation, and optimization.
  • Maintain network security through implementation of STIGs and ongoing IAVA compliance.
  • Administer and support enterprise services including: Microsoft Windows Server 2019/ 2022, Active Directory including Group Policy management, MECM, WSUS, DHCP, DNS, Microsoft Exchange, Backup and data protection solutions, Client imaging, File and print services.
  • Perform activities supporting Information Assurance and Network Accreditation requirements.
  • Manage and maintain operating environments including: Red Hat Enterprise Linux v8.10 Microsoft Windows Server 2019 and 2022, Windows 11 VMware vSphere and ESXi Dell Data Domain systems
