System Administrator will collaborate and support exciting, critical programs with classified information system capabilities. Success in this role means you can develop, implement, and maintain secure, cost-efficient environments across various classified programs. Program teams rely on your collaboration and guidance to define computing requirements and create end-to-end solutions to solve complex IT infrastructure problems.

Requirements

  • Typically requires a University Degree or equivalent experience and less than 2 years of prior relevant experience.
  • Experience with Windows or Linux OSs
  • Experience with system hardening for security compliance
  • Active and transferable U.S. government issued Secret security clearance is required prior to start date.
  • U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance

Nice To Haves

  • Department of Defense Directive (DoDD) 8140 / 8570 Certification requirements (CompTIA Security+ CE or equivalent certification and an Operating System Certification).
  • Experience with Trellix Host Base Security System (HBSS), ePolicy Orchestrator (ePO), Endpoint Security (ENS) Policy Auditor (PA), Data Loss Prevention (DLP).
  • Experience Deploying Windows workstations and migrating end-user data.
  • Experience with Microsoft Windows Active Directory Services administration and support (e.g. user and computer objects administration, Group Policy).
  • Experience with network services related to Microsoft Windows environment (e.g. DC, DNS, DHCP, etc.).
  • US Citizen - Active and transferable U.S. government issued Top Secret security clearance is required prior to start date.
  • U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance

Responsibilities

  • Provide IT systems administration in a heterogeneous Microsoft Windows environment supporting SIPR and other information systems.
  • Work as a team member in a fast-paced technological environment.
  • Use troubleshooting techniques to resolve technical problems of basic to moderate scope and complexity to include the integration of hardware and operating systems.
  • Manage virtualized environments.
  • Utilize your experience with Windows Server internals to include DNS, DHCP, AD, and server replication methods.
  • Utilize your experience with hardware RAID, hardware and software encryption and server management tools.
  • Utilize your experience in data backup and restore, using industry best practice.
  • Install and configure software applications requested by end users.
  • Work with Cybersecurity professionals to maintain security requirements.
  • Obtain Department of Defense Directive (DoDD) 8140 / 8570 Certification requirements (CompTIA Security+ CE or equivalent certification) within 6 months of start date.
  • Systems are operational 24x7 and occasionally require work effort beyond standard work hours.
  • Travel required as business needs dictate to other U.S. Domestic locations, up to 10% per year.
