This position is with the Test Data Processing System’s home group in Fort Worth, TX. The team uses a wide application of modern technical principles, theories, and concepts in the software and system hardware fields to develop, integrate, test and maintain Flight Test Data Processing Tools and Systems. The successful candidate will be responsible for all phases of systems administration support as the engineer representing Lockheed Martin's F-35 data processing tools and systems. Candidate responsibilities will span all customer support activities as a funnel for new requirements and issue tracking to the development team, provider of training sessions (both formal and informal) to the customer, creator of recommendation reports to the customer, and transition to the System Administration and IT System Build expert. The successful candidate will work with a high-performing multi-site, multi-program team and must be self-motivated with a strong work ethic, time-management, and interpersonal skills. The successful candidate must have demonstrated effective communication skills as the position will require frequent inter-organizational and outside customer interactions. The ability to travel on occasion for team interaction and integration and test activities is required. Demonstrated customer relationship management experience is a plus. Experience with data management tools, methodologies, database support and IT systems is required. Supporting network configurations, security requirements, user profile management and system administration is to be expected. Solaris/Unix experience is a plus. Must be able to stay technically ahead and maintain integrity with the ever-growing F-35 mission. Must be a US Citizen. This position is located at a facility that requires special access.
