Requirements

  • High school Diploma
  • Must be able to achieve and maintain a DOD Security clearance.
  • Must be able to achieve and maintain a U.S. Passport.

  • CompTIA Security+ certification (6 Months from hire)

  • Associates or bachelor’s degree in IT is a Plus

Responsibilities

  • Maintain day-to-day essential network operations, Windows and Linux operating systems, Microsoft security tools, applications, Linux virtual servers, domain controller, manage and update laptops, software, and hardware
  • Perform virtual server administration tasks, including user/group administration, security permissions, group policies, print services, research event log warnings and errors, and resource monitoring, and ensuring system architecture components work together seamlessly
  • Maintain internal infrastructure requirements, including laptop computers, virtual servers, firewalls, printers, phones, security updates, and support network segments
  • Interact with IT Department team members to assist in troubleshooting, identify root causes, and provide technical support and Tier ½ help desk assistance when needed
  • Perform routine/scheduled audits of the systems, including all backups
