About The Position

We are seeking a System Administrator who is passionate and a creative problem solver who thrives on being customer service oriented. This is a unique opportunity to exercise a great degree of freedom and creativity to architect and prototype new systems providing new capabilities and solutions to a customer that is transitioning to the next phase of their technical roadmap. This is NOT a standard System Administrator position requiring off-hours/weekend/on-call support, but it does require hands-on skills building, configuring, and managing a small number of VMs. Creating and maintaining new technical solutions. Hands-on administration of the supported VMs, including standard O&M activities such as applying patches/updates and implementing system configuration changes as needed. Enhancing existing applications by integrating new technology components and capabilities. Assisting the customer in understanding and evaluating new technologies with respect to their current and future needs.

Requirements

A current Top-Secret/SCI with polygraph security clearance is required. Candidates cannot be sponsored or nominated for a government security clearance under this position.
Five (5) years' experience as a SE in programs and contracts of similar scope, type and complexity is required.
Bachelor's degree in System Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering Science, Engineering Management, or related discipline from an accredited college or university is required.
Five (5) years of additional SE experience may be substituted for a bachelor's degree.

Responsibilities
