About The Position

ISHPI is seeking a Windows Systems Administrator to support Command and Control (C2) Afloat Integration Support (C2AIS) for the U.S. Coast Guard Command, Control, Communications, Computers, Cyber and Intelligence Service Center (C5ISC) in Portsmouth, Virginia. The position is on-site and manages supported C5ISC systems, providing system, software, hardware, network, test, and electronic engineering services, as well as technical writing.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Programming, or Network Engineering and at least six years of system administration experience; alternatively, a certificate from an accredited community or technical college in System Administration and eight years of system administration experience.
• Successful completion of additional training in one or more leading network operating systems, equipment, and protocols.
• Current DoD 8570/8170 IAT Level II certification, such as Security+, CISSP, CISM, CEH, CySA+, or CASP+/SecurityX. Additional specific information assurance certification requirements may apply.
• U.S. citizenship and an active DoD government security clearance.

Nice To Haves

• Experience or skills in PKI, Zero Trust Strategy, and RHEL/Windows OS hardening.

Responsibilities
