The System Administrator is responsible for provisioning, configuration, maintenance, security, and support of Louisiana Community and Technical Colleges (LCTC) System technology infrastructure, including servers, operating systems, enterprise applications, endpoint devices, and related systems. This role ensures the reliability, performance, availability, and security of technology services that support teaching, learning, and administrative operations. Working in a collaborative team environment, the System Administrator partners with IT staff and other LCTC System stakeholders to deliver effective technology solutions, support continuous improvement initiatives, and maintain a secure, resilient computing environment. Responsibilities include system monitoring, patch management, troubleshooting, technical research, and the implementation of best practices that enhance operational efficiency and cybersecurity. The System Administrator also provides desktop and system-related support, delivering exceptional customer service and clear communication.
