About The Position

The Boeing Company is seeking an Associate or Experienced System Administrator to join the Boeing Defense, Space & Security (BDS) team on Kirtland AFB or Albuquerque, NM. This role involves system integration, hardware and software installation, configuration, and disposition of servers and workstations to support the architecture. The position provides problem resolution and technical support for delivery systems, ensures system and data availability through monitoring and backup procedures, and administers user system access to meet security requirements. It also supports the design, validation, and configuration management of computing delivery systems. The role is 100% onsite and requires an active U.S. Secret clearance.

Requirements

Active U.S. Secret Security Clearance (U.S. Citizenship Required)
Bachelors degree or equivalent experience (Associate Level 2)
2+ years’ experience operating systems such as Windows, Linux, or macOS (Associate Level 2)
2+ years’ experience with Windows Server environments, including Active Directory, Group Policy, DNS, and DHCP (Associate Level 2)
2+ years’ experience with virtualization technologies such as VMware or Hyper-V (Associate Level 2)
2+ years’ experience with hardware, including servers, workstations, and peripheral devices (Associate Level 2)
2+ years’ experience with scripting languages such as PowerShell, Bash, or Python for automation (Associate Level 2)
Bachelors degree or equivalent experience (Experienced Level 3)
3+ years’ experience operating systems such as Windows, Linux, or macOS (Experienced Level 3)
3+ years’ experience with Windows Server environments, including Active Directory, Group Policy, DNS, and DHCP (Experienced Level 3)

Responsibilities

Performs system integration, hardware and software installation, configuration and disposition of servers and workstations to support the architecture (Experienced Level 3)
Provides problem resolution and technical support for delivery systems (Experienced Level 3)
Provides support for the design, validation and configuration management of computing delivery systems (Experienced Level 3)
Administers users system access and works to protect information to meet security requirements (Experienced Level 3)
Monitors system performance to support capacity planning, backup and disaster recovery planning (Experienced Level 3)
