About The Position

The System Administrator role is responsible for assisting with Managed Services Provider relations & activities, SOC relations & activities, Office IT infrastructure requirements, Software Management & Inventory, Hardware Management & Inventory, Software & Hardware vendor relations, assisting with IT Planning/Strategy, IT Policies & long-term Roadmap, DRG storm deployment & Command Center support, IT expense forecasting & budget, and special projects as assigned. This role is responsible for Disaster Resource Group and DRG Technical Solutions information technology support across the company and all departments.

Requirements

  • A minimum of three years of experience in information technology and related technologies and/or systems in a small, medium-sized firm.
  • Knowledge of networks, digital and satellite technology, and PC-based applications.
  • Exposure to information technology architecture and platforms, enterprise software applications, and managed services.
  • Demonstrated ability to apply IT practices to solve business problems.
  • In depth knowledge of and troubleshooting Windows 11 and Microsoft 365 environment to include Outlook, Excel, and PowerPoint
  • In depth knowledge of the Microsoft ecosystem to include Entra, Defender and Intune
  • Experience with end point management tools, patch management, and system monitoring platforms.
  • Soft skills include effective communication, teamwork, leadership, conflict management, critical thinking

Nice To Haves

  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Troubleshoot hardware, software, and network issues related to internal IT systems, escalating to external vendors or MSP partners when appropriate.
  • Coordinate, install, and support Office IT network and infrastructure components for new office buildouts, expansions, and modifications to existing sites.
  • Assist with system upgrades, patching, configuration changes, and performance optimization across servers, endpoints, and network devices.
  • Administer, troubleshoot and monitor Microsoft Office 365, Intune, Exchange, Teams, and Azure services and resources.
  • Install, configure, and troubleshoot network hardware, operating systems, and enterprise software applications.
  • Assist with incident response, incident investigation, and incident report development.
  • Prioritize projects as they relate to selection, acquisition, development, and implementation of IT systems and services.
  • Perform other duties and special projects as assigned.
