About The Position

We are seeking experienced System Administrators to support a secure, stable, and high-performing hybrid IT environment. This is a hands-on infrastructure support role responsible for maintaining enterprise systems across on-premises and cloud platforms. The ideal candidate will have strong experience with Windows Server administration, Microsoft technologies, virtualization, patch management, system monitoring, and operational support.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of Windows Server Administration experience
  • Strong experience with Active Directory and Group Policy management
  • Experience supporting Microsoft 365, Exchange Online, and Entra ID (Azure AD)
  • Knowledge of DNS, DHCP, patch management, monitoring, backup, and recovery solutions
  • Experience with VMware and/or Hyper-V virtualization platforms
  • PowerShell scripting and operating system troubleshooting experience
  • Experience supporting infrastructure incidents and maintenance operations
  • Familiarity with security practices including MFA, vulnerability remediation, and access management
  • Understanding of networking fundamentals and hybrid IT environments
  • Experience working with ticketing systems and operational support processes
  • PowerShell scripting and troubleshooting experience

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with Azure infrastructure administration and hybrid cloud environments
  • Exposure to Intune, endpoint management, SIEM/EDR tools, and Conditional Access policies
  • Knowledge of identity federation and SSO technologies
  • Familiarity with NIST or other security/compliance frameworks
  • Experience working in government or regulated environments

Responsibilities

  • Administer and maintain Windows Server environments across on-premises and cloud infrastructure
  • Manage Active Directory, Group Policy, DNS, DHCP, file/print services, and user access administration
  • Support Microsoft 365 services including Exchange Online and Entra ID (Azure AD)
  • Execute server patching, maintenance activities, and vulnerability remediation processes
  • Monitor infrastructure systems and respond to alerts, outages, and operational incidents
  • Provide Tier 2/3 infrastructure support and participate in incident response activities
  • Support backup, recovery, and disaster recovery operations including restore validation testing
  • Maintain virtualization environments using VMware and/or Hyper-V
  • Assist with MFA administration, access control, system hardening, and security compliance initiatives
  • Participate in change management, maintenance windows, and CAB processes
  • Perform root cause analysis and contribute to continuous service improvement initiatives
  • Create and maintain technical documentation, operational procedures, and system configurations
  • Collaborate with Network Engineering, Security, End User Services, and Application teams on infrastructure-related activities
