Job Description The Naval Nuclear Laboratory IT Department is looking for an Application Hosting Administrator to support custom and low‑code application infrastructure. The incumbent will set up, configure, monitor, and maintain servers and other hosting infrastructure while adhering to cybersecurity best practices and requirements. Key responsibilities include: Provisioning and configuring application hosting environments for custom and low‑code solutions. Monitoring performance, availability, and capacity of hosted applications and underlying infrastructure. Applying security controls, patches, and hardening standards in accordance with cybersecurity requirements and policies. Collaborating with application developers, cybersecurity personnel, and operations staff to troubleshoot issues and optimize hosting solutions. Maintaining documentation for environments, configurations, procedures, and change records. Supporting incident response and problem management activities related to hosted applications and platforms.

Requirements

Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university and a minimum of 2 years of relevant experience; or Master's degree from an accredited college or university in a related field and a minimum of 1 year of relevant experience.
System administration experience (e.g., Active Directory, Group Policy Management, administration of users and computers).
Experience with virtual environments, including creation and maintenance of golden images and server virtual machines (VMs).
Familiarity with monitoring tools and log analysis for hosted applications and infrastructure.
Demonstrated attention to detail and commitment to applying cybersecurity best practices in day‑to‑day work.
All candidates must be U.S. citizens.

All candidates must be able to pass a drug test in compliance with FMP company policy and 10 CFR 707.

Nice To Haves

Experience with ColdFusion or Power Platform infrastructure.
Strong verbal and written communication skills, including effective communication with colleagues and leadership.
Experience documenting processes, procedures, configurations, and test plans.
