Digital Consultants is seeking a qualified System Administrator/Analyst to perform analytical work in support of testing, evaluation, and certification of IT/NSS related to networks, systems, and equipment for our work at Fort Huachuca, AZ. Requirements

  • Clearance: Secret
  • Certification: CompTIA Security+
  • Requires a Master’s degree; or a Bachelor's degree with at least 6 years of experience. One year of experience can be substituted by 15 semester hours completed toward a Master’s degree.
  • Requires at least 1 certification in area of specialization.
  • Additional certifications in the area of specialization may be substituted for experience but vary by certification.
  • The degree must be in a relevant technical curriculum and experience must be related to the job duties.
  • Demonstrates expertise in a variety of the field’s concepts, practices, and procedures.
  • Relies on extensive experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals.
  • Performs a variety of complex tasks.
  • A wide degree of creativity and latitude is expected.
  • Leads and directs the work of others.
  • May provide consultation on complex projects and be a top-level contributor/specialist.
  • Must be expert at problem-solving, identifying risk, and communicating results and recommendations.
  • Typically reports to top management or executive.

Responsibilities

  • Incorporates DoD interoperability directives and instructions in all T&E processes.
  • Reviews, analyzes, and evaluates IT system operations as well as interprets customer information.
  • Solicits system requirements and associated operational environment to produce an evaluation approach that supports T&E objectives.
  • Shares and briefs T&E project milestones to all levels of stakeholders.
  • Conducts and may oversee testing of processes and products.
  • Responsible for the design and implementation of test procedures to determine if standards/criteria are met.
  • Responsible for activities involving quality assurance and compliance with applicable regulatory requirements.
  • Records all initial findings and documents final test results in a designated formal cybersecurity report.
  • Accounts for anomalies and errors found in testing, notifies customers and management and may help analyze and/or correct problems.
