System Administrator 3 - (VMware, Ansible, Jira)
About The Position
Responsible for supporting servers, current hardware, storage, virtual infrastructures with VMs, new hardware, and resources. Responsible for day-to-day operations, creating/deleting VMs, security updates, troubleshooting, resolving issues, managing tickets (Jira). Familiar with automation tools and building of workflows. Responsible for keeping networks up-to-date utilizing industry best practices and be able to advise on system and network designs, mission architectures, and simplify and streamline network maintenance tasks. Advise on system and network designs, mission architectures, and simplify and streamline network maintenance tasks.
Requirements
- Experience with multiple operating systems (Windows, Linux, Unix)
- Experience with Ubuntu
- Familiar with System and Network security policies and able to implement policies
- Maintain and administer systems and networks (monitoring, patching, troubleshooting)
- Experience with SSPs, Authentication, Compliance, and Monitoring
- Design and administer networks
- Rack hardware
- VMware
- Maintaining and deploying VMs.
- Able to build VMs.
- GPU experience
- Experience with Ansible
- Experience with Jira and Confluence
- Responsive to users
- Able to set up enclaves
- Experience with system hardware
- Experience with NetBox
- Cluster management experience
- Fifteen (15) years as a SA in programs and contracts of similar scope, type, and complexity is required.
- Bachelor’s degree in a technical discipline from an accredited college or university is required.
- Five (5) years of additional SA experience may be substituted for a bachelor’s degree.
