About The Position

As a System Administrator, you will work as a team and participate in the administration, the support, the design and the implementation of a global IT infrastructure. As a member of the infrastructure group, you are responsible for maintaining the servers, the storage, the databases, the network, the cloud platforms and services while ensuring a high level of security.

Requirements

  • DEC or AEC in technologies with 5 or more years of experience with infrastructure or; Experience in a relevant IT field for more than 7 years
  • System administration knowledge (Microsoft Azure, Amazon AWS, O365 applications, Citrix)
  • Solid interpersonal and communication (verbal and written) skills
  • Teamwork oriented, with the ability to structure work and define priorities

Responsibilities

  • Participate in the definition and design of technical/infrastructure solutions on premise and cloud-based
  • Administer the infrastructure virtualization environment
  • Adhere to the Infrastructure operations processes while continuously improving them
  • Create and maintain operations procedures, work instructions, inventory systems, change requests, knowledge bases and the ticketing system
  • Interact with external customers and internal users to manage incidents, problems and requests
  • Participate in identifying risks and problems
  • Be on-call on a rotation basis for after-hours emergencies
  • Help the other System Administrators and the Service Desk Team to resolve incidents and fulfill requests by giving them advice
  • Answer questions coming from the other System Administrators and the Service Desk Team, and show them how to develop their skills
