Military experience equivalency may substitute for some requirements. This posting is for a hiring event in the El Dorado area, supporting industrial and refinery operations. The event allows candidates to be reviewed faster, speak directly with hiring leaders, and be matched to positions that fit their skills and availability for current and upcoming opportunities. Opportunities may include Material Handling & Equipment Operator, Switchman, Industrial Maintenance Mechanic, and Maintenance Supervisor. Qualified candidates will be contacted for a phone screening and may receive an "authorized interview fast-pass" for priority timeslots at the event. Walk-ins are also welcome on a first-come, first-served basis.

Requirements

  • Ability to work assigned schedules, including nights, weekends, or overtime as needed
  • Ability to perform physical tasks such as standing, walking, lifting, and working outdoors in various weather conditions
  • Strong attention to safety and ability to follow instructions
  • Ability to meet various pre-employment requirements including but not limited to: Criminal background check, Drug and alcohol screening, Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) review; valid Driver's license required, Fitness-for-duty assessment to ensure that candidates can safely perform essential functions of the job with or without reasonable accommodation, Ability to receive and maintain site access credentials or badges per site-requirements
  • Compliance with all site safety rules, policies, and procedures
  • Required use of personal protective equipment (PPE)
  • Completion of site-specific safety training and orientations

Nice To Haves

  • Prior experience working in an industrial, refinery, chemical plant, or manufacturing environment is preferred
  • Experience following strict safety rules and working in safety-sensitive environments is a plus
