About The Position
Be part of our team and bring your natural skills as a problem solver to our industrial electro-mechanical environment. We seek an experienced Switchgear Service Specialist who overseeing the testing, service and repair of switchgear.
Requirements
- A minimum of 5 years of hands-on experience repairing switchgear
- Experience in Megger test equipment
- Experience with Power DB database
- Past exposure and understanding of multiple manufacturers and various vintages of equipment is desired
- A proven ability in reading and interpreting electrical schematics is required
Responsibilities
- Surveying and quoting jobs
- Sourcing parts and materials to serve our customers’ needs
- Reviewing test reports
- Working with our field supervisors to schedule jobs
- Partnering on calls with our Sales Representatives to assure growth opportunities are optimized
- Providing technical support on field and shop repairs
