This role is crucial in supporting our operations across Arizona, Hawaii, and California. This position involves reviewing electrical drawings, building switchgear Bills of Materials, preparing submittal documents, and managing project information within our tracking systems.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree (B.A or B.S.) from a 4-year college or University; or 1 - 3 years' of related Electrical Distribution experience and/or training; or Equivalent combination of education and experience.

Responsibilities

  • Review and interpret electrical drawings and specifications for new quotes and projects.
  • Interface with various manufacturers’ software’s to build switchgear Bill of Materials which accurately reflect the scope of work specified.
  • Prepare detailed submittal documents in preparation for customer review and ensuring customer approval prior to releasing for production or shipment.
  • Ensure that all work is maintained in a tracking system (Eclipse/Job Management) and saved on SharePoint with complete accuracy.
  • Support panelboard assembly and related services coordinated through Pro Logistics Services (PLS), including quotation support, scope validation, and internal coordination.
  • Manage and track orders, quotes, and project activity through Eclipse, ensuring accurate status, documentation, and milestone tracking.
  • Receive factory quotes and compile in DJC.
  • Coordinate with sales to establish customer pricing.
  • Leverage existing manufacturer and local representative relationships.
  • Assure project IE’s Terms and Conditions are compared with vendor’s and then included on all project quote packages to customer.
  • Identify business development and “add-on” sales opportunities as they relate to a specific project.
  • Effectively convey our message in both written and verbal business development discussions.
  • Effectively communicate relevant project information to superiors.
  • Resolve and/or escalate issues in a timely fashion.
  • Be an ongoing resource for sales and projects departments for all things related to switchgear and power distribution.
  • Perform any other duties assigned that contribute to customer service, branch profitability and company success.
