About The Position
Operates the hospital switchboard to answer all calls, direct calls and perform paging. To ensure that calls are handled appropriately and ensure proper code notifications. Greet and direct patients and visitors.
Requirements
- High School Required
- Operator Console (Nortel m2250)
- Digital Telephone (Nortel m3900 series phones: m3900 and 2000 series)
- Analog telephones 2500 series telephones
- Analog Teledex Telephone
- Mobile devices Flip phone and Smart Phone
- Beeper/Pager (One-way Alphanumeric)
- Personal Computer, Laptop Computer
- Printer (usage and simple troubleshooting including changing toner and adding paper)
- AIO - All In One/Multifunction - Printer, copier, scanner and facsimile (usage of all functions and simple troubleshooting including changing toner and adding paper)
- Alarm Panels
Responsibilities
- Answer Code Line
- Answer consoles and all telephones in Department
- Provide information as requested
