About The Position
Regions Hospital is seeking a Switchboard Operator to serve as an important point of contact for internal and external callers. In this role, you’ll provide friendly, professional service while connecting callers to the right department, service, or resource. The ideal candidate is customer-focused, dependable, and comfortable communicating with a wide variety of people. You'll be successful in this role if you have strong listening and communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to remain composed while assisting callers in a busy healthcare environment.
Requirements
- Two years of clerical experience or customer service skills.
Nice To Haves
- Six months or more of call center or switchboard experience preferred.
Responsibilities
- Answer and route internal and external calls.
- Determine caller needs and provide accurate information or connections.
- Deliver professional, courteous customer service.
- Collaborate with hospital teams to support effective communication.
- Manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
