About The Position

RCB Bank is seeking a Part-Time Switchboard Operator responsible for providing excellent internal and external customer service and assisting in the operations of a large telephone switchboard and computerized database of telephone information. The role requires strong communication skills, the ability to work in a fast-paced environment, and a client-focused mindset. The ideal candidate will also care about their community and have a desire to be involved.

Requirements

Minimum of one year of customer service experience
Strong telephone and written communication skills to customers.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while answering calls with accuracy.
Strong, client-focused mindset.
Regular and reliable attendance.
Ability to work varying hours.
Ability to perform job functions with general supervision.
Ability to work effectively as a member of a team and independently.
Ability to work harmoniously with diverse personalities of co-workers and internal customers.

Responsibilities

Answer and route calls in an accurate and timely manner.
Ensure customer satisfaction by being courteous and pleasant when answering each call.
Professionally answer customer inquiries with a commonsense approach.
Assist customers and branches with debit card exemptions for travel notifications while following bank, regulatory and legal compliance requirements.
