Switch Truck Operator - 1st Shift
About The Position
Sara Lee Frozen Bakery is seeking a Switch Truck Operator for the 1st Shift. This role is responsible for assisting with the loading of trucks, transporting products and raw materials to and from docks, freezer, warehouse, and production lines, and rotating and arranging stock. The operator will need to obtain and maintain a valid forklift/Power Industrial Truck License to operate forklifts and stand-up trucks. They will receive directions via order/pick sheets and radio dispatches. The position requires the ability to work all shifts, lift up to 50 pounds occasionally, and work outdoors in temperatures ranging from -10 to 95 degrees Fahrenheit.
Requirements
- Must be able to obtain and maintain a valid forklift/Power Industrial Truck License
- Must be able to receive directions via order/pick sheet for specific lines
- Must be able to receive directions via radio dispatches from warehouse
- Must be able to work all shifts
- Must be willing to individually lift up to 50 pounds occasionally throughout the shift
- Must be willing to work outdoors ranging from -10 degrees to 95 degrees
- Must be at least 18 years of age
- Must be able to provide proof of authorization to work legally in the United States
- Must pass a urinalysis screening as part of the post-offer health assessment
