About The Position

The Electro-Mechanical Technician (Switch) is responsible for loading test stands and setting up testing for very small and intricate parts. The ideal candidate will have a working knowledge in reading, interpreting, and following technical work instructions and blueprints. This first shift position is well suited for a patient individual who is a fast learner, is focused on quality output, and enjoys working in a demanding atmosphere.

Requirements

High School Diploma or GED or equivalent from an accredited institution or equivalent related experience required.
Minimum 2 years of experience in a manufacturing environment required.

Ability to interpret/follow written work instructions, visual aids, sketches and blueprints.
Basic electrical and mechanical troubleshooting skills
Mid-level assembly, calibration & ATP

Responsibilities

Set up, start and then break down test ovens which contain small electro-mechanical parts
Interpret customer and supplier requirements (via blueprints and work instructions)
Recommend design and process improvements to enhance manufacturability
Perform visual inspection of parts
Maintain quality records
