About The Position
The Switch Assembler is responsible for performing all assembly operations within the department after completing proper training. This role works closely with other team members and the Group Leader to maintain efficiency and must remain flexible in performing various job functions. The position involves building Switch Line products according to customer order specifications.
Requirements
- Candidates must reside within 50 miles of Greenwood, South Carolina – no relocation is provided for this role.

Responsibilities
- Perform machine set-ups for various switch configurations and operate all departmental machines to ensure product quality
- Review specifications and required drawings for proper assembly and ensure compliance with quality procedures
- Follow standard work instructions and move and load materials needed to build switches
- Rotate between workstations and assist others as needed to meet department productivity goals
- Work safely and prevent injuries by adhering to standard safety procedures
