About The Position

The Swine Service Manager will oversee an assigned territory of contract and company-owned wean-to-finish sites. This role involves training and managing farm staff, managing pig inventory and health, marketing pigs, and collaborating with the maintenance department.

Requirements

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Excellent organizational and time management skills.
• Prior swine management experience.
• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.

Responsibilities

• Train and manage farm staff to ensure proper production practices are followed.
• Initial inventory and assessment of newly placed pigs.
• Marketing – weekly projections and selection of pigs for market.
• Work with the maintenance department to ensure all site maintenance is current.
• Ability to troubleshoot and adjust ventilation.
• Accessing health issues and the ability to perform on-farm diagnostics.
