Requirements
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Strong attention to detail and willingness to learn
- Valid driver's license
Nice To Haves
- Agricultural experience is a plus, but not required
Responsibilities
- Help protect farms from disease through biosecurity audits and training
- Conduct safety audits of barn personnel
- Perform animal welfare assessments at farm sites
- Inspect farm structures to ensure biosecurity compliance
- Evaluate interior and exterior farm areas, including attics, chutes, and grounds
- Identify structural concerns that could impact barn performance
- Train farm staff on biosecurity, safety, and animal welfare best practices
- Complete truck wash and trailer audits
