Claffey Pools is seeking an experienced and highly motivated Swimming Pool Service Technician to join our team. If you have hands-on experience diagnosing and repairing swimming pool equipment, strong troubleshooting skills, and take pride in providing excellent customer service, we want to hear from you. Requirements

  • Minimum of 2 years of swimming pool service or equipment repair experience preferred
  • Residential Appliance Installer License (RAIL) preferred
  • Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills
  • Working knowledge of residential swimming pool pumps, filters, heaters, automation systems, and related equipment
  • Self-motivated and comfortable working independently in the field
  • Dependable with a strong work ethic and attention to detail
  • Strong communication and customer service skills
  • Valid Texas driver's license and ability to meet company driving requirements
  • Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions
  • Ability to safely perform the physical duties associated with servicing and repairing swimming pool equipment
  • Availability for occasional overtime and Saturday work during peak seasonal periods

  • Candidates who possess a current Residential Appliance Installer License (RAIL) may be eligible for a $1,000 sign-on bonus, subject to the terms and conditions of the company's sign-on bonus program.

Responsibilities

  • Diagnose and repair residential swimming pool equipment
  • Troubleshoot pumps, filters, heaters, automation systems, and other pool-related equipment
  • Repair or replace equipment and components as needed
  • Identify service issues and recommend appropriate repairs or equipment replacement
  • Complete assigned service calls accurately and efficiently
  • Clearly explain service needs, repairs, and completed work to customers
  • Provide professional and courteous customer service
  • Maintain accurate documentation of service calls and repairs
  • Properly maintain company-provided vehicle, tools, and equipment
  • Follow company safety procedures and established service standards
