About The Position

Aquatica Academy is seeking experienced swim instructors to teach students swimming skills or to work as substitute instructors. The role offers a positive and stable working environment with excellent staff retention. Instructors will teach in warm, comfortable pools (86-88 degrees Fahrenheit) in semi-private and private settings, with most students aged 3-10 years old. All necessary training equipment is provided, and additional gear can be requested. This is a year-round position with a rolling schedule that allows instructors to follow students' progress through different levels.

Requirements

• At least 3 years of instruction experience.
• Reliable attendance.
• Possession of a valid photo ID, SS card, and relevant certifications.
• Up-to-date CPR/AED and First Aid certifications (or willingness to update them).

• Strong backgrounds in swim instruction.

Responsibilities

• Teach students how to swim.
• Provide substitute class work.
• Develop and maintain relationships with students as they advance through levels.
• Work autonomously in a 'no drama' environment.
