About The Position
The purpose of this position is to effectively conduct group swim lessons and individual swim lessons in a safe and responsible manner. Motivate members and guests to increase swim technique, comfort in the water are self-confidence. Other duties may be assigned as needed.
Requirements
- Familiarity with aquatics industry
- Swimming proficiency
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work with minimal supervision
- Minimum 16 years of age and American Red Cross Lifeguard Certification (includes CPR/First AID/AED for the Professional Rescuer); or Minimum 18 years of age and American Red Cross Adult and Pediatric First Aid/CPR/AED Certification
Nice To Haves
- Minimum of 1year instructing swim lessons preferred
- High School diploma preferred
