About The Position

The purpose of this position is to effectively conduct group swim lessons and individual swim lessons in a safe and responsible manner. Motivate members and guests to increase swim technique, comfort in the water are self-confidence. Other duties may be assigned as needed.

Requirements

• Familiarity with aquatics industry
• Swimming proficiency
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to work with minimal supervision
• Minimum 16 years of age and American Red Cross Lifeguard Certification (includes CPR/First AID/AED for the Professional Rescuer); or Minimum 18 years of age and American Red Cross Adult and Pediatric First Aid/CPR/AED Certification
• High School diploma preferred

Nice To Haves

• 1 year instructing swim lessons preferred
