For 80 years, we have been one of upstate New York’s largest providers of programs and services for individuals who have disabilities. Many of the innovative programs and vital services that we offer are not available elsewhere. We are searching for a Swim Supervisor. Dates are 5/6/26-6/10/26 on Wednesday's from 4pm-6pm at Queensbury Elementary School Pool.

Requirements

• High School Diploma/equivalent
• Associates degree
• American Red Cross life guarding
• CPR for the Pro-Rescuer
• Standard First Aid
• At least 1 year of job related experience, specifically with people with developmental disabilities

Responsibilities

• Coordinate all activities involving the six week swim program
• Contact facilities, staff, and complete necessary paperwork
• Supervise staff and the people we support in the pool
• Support staff and the people we support with pool guidance and safety needs
• Enforces pool policies, rules, and regulations
• Organize pool area when multiple activities are occurring to avoid conflict and frustration of people we support
• Participate in training and development activities in accordance with department and agency policies
• Follow proper procedure when notified about defective pool equipment and incident reports
