They are seeking a Swim Supervisor for their six-week Swim Program at Prospect Center in Queensbury, NY, to help shape a more inclusive future.

Requirements

• High School Diploma/equivalent
• Associates degree
• American Red Cross life guarding certification
• CPR for the Pro-Rescuer certification
• Standard First Aid certification
• At least 1 year of job related experience, specifically with people with developmental disabilities

Responsibilities

• Coordinate all activities involving the six week swim program
• Contact facilities, staff, and complete necessary paperwork
• Supervise staff and the people we support in the pool
• Support staff and the people we support with pool guidance and safety needs
• Enforces pool policies, rules, and regulations
• Organize pool area when multiple activities are occurring to avoid conflict and frustration of people we support
• Participate in training and development activities in accordance with department and agency policies
