About The Position

We are looking for a dedicated Supervisor to oversee and support daily swim school operations. Reporting directly to the General Manager, the Supervisor plays a key role in maintaining a safe, engaging, and efficient environment for students, parents, and staff. With responsibilities ranging from team management and customer experience to facility oversight and local marketing, this position offers a dynamic opportunity to make a lasting impact on your community. This role is at a Saf-T-Swim Location. This Saf-T-Swim location is owned and operated by SafeSplash.

Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent preferred; some college coursework preferred.
Supervisory or team leadership experience in aquatics, education, or related field preferred.
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment while being agile and taking initiative
Comfortable working around water and interacting with children and parents.
Must be able to lift 30 lbs. and be on your feet for long periods
CPR, First Aid, and AED certifications are required within 30 days of hire (training available)

Nice To Haves

Prior swim experience is preferred
Lifeguard certification is preferred

Responsibilities

Assist in instructing, deck management and front desk duties to ensure efficient and effective operations.
Assist in the opening and closing of the facility and ensure proper processes and procedures are completed in the interior, exterior, pool and pump room to ensure cleanliness, safety and operational standards.
Promote a safety culture for our team, students, and parents by consistently executing the quality assurance and brand standards and responding accordingly.
Promote a culture of safety by consistently enforcing safety protocols and addressing potential hazards promptly.
Assist in interviews, and onboarding to integrate new employees.
Assist the location in providing initial training for new staff and ongoing education for all team members to enhance their skills and stay current with standards.
Assist in the scheduling of staff from finding substitutions, adding and removing classes and communicating to customers of scheduling changes.
Supervise instructors and lifeguards to ensure high-quality lessons and adherence to safety and brand standards.
Foster an inclusive and positive workplace culture through team-building activities, recognition, and growth opportunities.
Provide employees with ongoing coaching, feedback, and support to foster continuous improvement and professional growth.
Deliver a world-class experience by addressing customer inquiries, ensuring timely follow-ups, and maintaining high satisfaction scores (NPS).
Execute strategies to enhance customer engagement and retention, including proactive communication with parents about their child’s progress.
Respond to customer requests effectively and promptly, as well as feedback from social platforms.
Assist in local marketing initiatives to promote programs and increase community involvement.
Assist with creating and managing social media platforms to engage with customers and drive interest in the swim school.
Partner with the General Manager to strengthen relationships with local businesses and organizations, enhancing community visibility.
Ensure the execution of the master agreement with the hosted partner.
